The 3 Email Newsletters I Read Every Morning

Everyone has their morning rituals. Mine usually involves reviewing emails, watching the news, drinking sole water, and working out. I thought about how we all get our news from various sources, so I wanted to share where I get mine. These three free newsletters are my go-to emails to read up on the day’s affairs:

  1. The Skimm - this is the OG morning newsletter. I love how they dive into complex political issues and explain it in a way that anyone can understand. If you are looking for an overall quick-rundown of today’s news, this is the newsletter for you. You can sign up here.

  2. NonPoliticalNews(NoPo) - for as much as I like politics, this newsletter is my jam! Vera Gibbons does a beautiful job collating all the relevant news of the day, that isn’t political in nature. So if you can’t stand reading about anything political, you will absolutely love this one. She covers consumer/personal finance, health & wellness, fashion/beauty, and fitness/diet. As Vera says, this is the news without noise. You can sign up here.

  3. The Daily Carnage - this one is new to my routine, but you better believe if I add a newsletter and 6 months later I still open and read it every morning, it is worth getting! The Daily Carnage gives you a few headlines related to the digital space, think social media, websites, advertising, etc. They always include a vintage advertisement that makes you remember the good ole days. I love the Facebook group they also run that encourages engagement among subscribers. I have asked questions in it and always get great feedback and suggestions. You can sign up here.
